Saligia of the Seven: Part 2Part 2-Acedia The sun began to sink low into the hills as Saligia trudged on forward through the forest path. He followed the old path that the elder had said the medicine man took on his venture to their village. He knew it should not be long before he reached the clearing where the tower of the Seven should be located. He had begun to wonder why the medicine man used the old path that had not been used in years instead of the new path that was built by the kingdom for safer travel instead. The vegetation on this path had over grown so much that it was near impossible at times to distinguish where the path ended and the forest began. &Saligia of the Seven: Part 2

The bright blue sky above the countryside quickly became dark as the sun slowly faded black and a shadow fell upon the earth. The people quickly dropped what they were doing, letting buckets of water hit the ground and farm animals go as they quickly retreated to the safety of their homes. A single goat ran free from the village and up to a hill. There it stood grazing as everything around it grew dark and quiet. A black arm seemed to reach out from the thin air of the shadow and grasp the grazing animal in its clutches. It then retracted in on itself, the goat had disappeared.
